Elon’s Society of Physics Students recently received recognition as a distinguished chapter by the national SPS organization
The Society of Physics Students invites guest speakers, conducts fun experiments, develops science competitions for students to win prizes, and of course, offers free food at each of these events. They do this every semester and now they have gained recognition from the national SPS organization as distinguished chapter for their activities during the 2014-2015 academic year, which included Space Week and public screenings of Cosmos, a popular science series.
The Society of Physics Students meets bi-weekly on Mondays at 6 p.m. to engage in a wide variety of interesting activities. To join in the fun, contact David Han at dhan@elon.edu for more information.
