Teresa LePors, Coordinator of Library Research and Scholarly Services, presented a session at the Empirical Librarians Conference in Greensboro, North Carolina on February 29, 2016.
The presentation was entitled “You’ve got mail: Analyzing liaison activities using faculty emails.” LePors analyzed emails received from, and sent to, faculty in her liaison areas over the course of a calendar year and then used concept mapping to identify patterns of interactions. In the session, she outlined the methodology used in her research, shared her findings, and discussed how her results will be used to better inform library liaison strategies.
