Campus Recreation held it's 3rd annual Battleship at Belk pool on Friday, March 11.
Seventeen teams battled in Beck Pool to stay afloat at Campus Recreation’s 3rd annual Battleship on Friday, March 11. During the four 20-minute heats, two members of the three person teams were armed with buckets to throw water, while one team member was designated to protect the canoe with the team’s shield.
The last two canoes to stay afloat during the first three heats made it to the finals.
The first-place team, Sea-U-Late-OAR, won a gift card to Dick’s Sporting Goods, Battleship towels, and Campus Recreation infuser water bottles. The second place team, The Kraken, won a Battleship towel and Campus Recreation infuser water bottles, and the third place team, New School Outdoors, won Campus Recreation infuser water bottles.
