Kevin J. O’Mara, professor of management in the Martha and Spencer Love School of Business and executive director of the Doherty Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership, served as an invited speaker at the Sullivan Foundation Social Entrepreneurship Program’s Faculty Summit, held April 8-10 in Raleigh, N.C.
The Summit is designed to provide faculty and campus leaders from across the Sullivan Network of universities and beyond an exceptional professional development opportunity that promotes deeper understanding of the social innovation and entrepreneurship community.
O’Mara spoke on a panel titled, “Fostering a Community of Change-Making Leaders on Campus,” along with the social entrepreneurship directors at Duke University and N.C. State University.
The work of the Sullivan Foundation centers on a comprehensive theory of change designed to promote engagement at all levels – with individuals as well as with communities small and large. The Foundation encourages students and faculty to develop their capacities for service and promote social entrepreneurship as a tool for addressing core societal issues
