Elon's men's and women's tennis coaches have received Coach of the Year awards and several Phoenix athletes have received All-Conference recognition.

Two seniors’ performances earned Elon University seventh place overall in the nation’s largest sales role-play competition. 

The assistant professor of sport and event management played a prominent role in the collegiate recreational sports organization’s April conference, serving as program chair and facilitating five presentations and workshops.

Elon University Trustee Cecil Worsley ’86 P’14 and his wife, JoAnna ’87 P’14, will match all gifts to Elon Athletics up to $50,000 if 500 new donors are secured by May 13.

The Elon University School of Communications is home to more Ph.D. graduates from UNC’s School of Media and Journalism than any other program in the nation – a fact discovered as the UNC school celebrates 50 years of doctoral education.

Students, faculty and staff at Elon University will join others across the nation in celebrating Denim Day on April 27 by wearing denim jeans in support for survivors of sexual assault and to stand together against victim blaming.
