Elon’s affiliate partner, The Beijing Center, will be on campus on Monday, Sept. 12.
Katie Rooney, senior university relations coordinator for the Office of International Programs at Loyola University of Chicago, will hold an information session tomorrow for students interested in studying abroad with The Beijing Center in Beijing, China.
The Beijing Center (TBC) courses concentrate on a wide range of subjects including: art, business, Chinese language, communications, history, literature, philosophy, political science, science, sociology, theology and martial arts. All courses are taught in English. Professors are both Chinese and American scholars and professionals from Beijing’s top universities. No previous experience studying Chinese language is necessary. However, you are required to study Mandarin Chinese while at TBC, unless you can demonstrate complete fluency. To assist with language study, TBC pairs each student in the program with a Chinese university student.
When: Sept. 12, 3:30-4:30 p.m.
