Schedule a maker orientation and introduce your class to the maker community at Elon.
The Maker Hub offers orientations to classes and groups at Elon. The 1-hour session gives an overview of what’s possible in Elon’s makerspace. Students will see example projects, learn about how they can access the Maker Hub, and compete with their classmates in a hands-on competition that emphasizes the importance of prototypes and iterative design. It’s an excellent introduction to the maker community at Elon.
The Maker Hub has hosted orientations for classes in nearly all academic disciplines, including English, engineering, astronomy, computer science, communications, theater, education, business, and Elon 101.
