Elon Law is hosting a Sept. 6 conversation with several thought leaders and legal practioners on the way women are portrayed in pop culture, with the recorded discussion to be distributed to media later this year via LST Radio.
Elon Law students, alumni, faculty and staff are invited to a Tuesday afternoon event featuring North Carolina Supreme Court Associate Justice Robin Hudson, Assistant Professor Heather Scavone, Associate Professor Naeemah Clark, and others who will share their insights on the way women lawyers are portrayed in mass media and pop culture.
Elon Law, with support from Elon University’s Inclusive Community Council and the Women’s Law Association, is hosting Law School Transparency for a roundtable conversation that will be recorded and distributed via LST’s upcoming “Women in the Law” podcast series.
The theme of the roundtable discussion is on “Women Lawyers in the Media.” It will be moderated by Olympia Duhart, a professor at Nova Southeastern University and part of a reporting team at the Miami Herald that won a Pulitzer Prize for Public Service Reporting.
