The poetry contest will be judged by University of Virginia faculty member Debra Nystrom.
Please consider submitting one to two poems for the 2016 Maness Poetry Prize. Cash prizes are given out each year thanks to a generous gift from an alum, William Maness.
Winners will be announced by Debra Nystrom, our visiting writer from the University of Virginia, at her reading on Nov. 1, 7:30 p.m., in Johnston Hall.
Please put a hard copy under my door (207 Whitley) or in my mailbox in Alamance 305 by Wednesday, Oct. 26, at 3 p.m.
