Open enrollment begins October 24 and ends on November 4. Employees who are adding, dropping and/or making changing to existing benefits can enroll through OnTrack.
Each year Elon University provides an open enrollment period to allow eligible employees to add, drop, and/or make changes to their existing benefits. This year, open enrollment begins on October 24 and ends on November 4. You can enroll through OnTrack.

Accessing the instructions prior to beginning the process is advised. Click on the following hyperlink to access the 2017 Benefits Guide. Reminder: The following information will be needed when adding dependent(s) and/or a legal spouse/domestic partnerto your benefits:
- Full legal name(s),
- Birth date(s), and
- Social security number(s)
You must complete the open enrollment process online if you are adding, deleting, and/or making changes to your benefits. If you do not make an enrollment election, you will maintain your medical, dental, vision, dependent/optional life, long-term disability, etc. at your current coverage level except for your flexible spending plans. Under IRS guidelines, in order to participate in a flexible spending plan, employees are required to re-enroll annually.
Any changes to Long-Term disability coverage or to the Optional and Dependent Life Insurance coverage, including beneficiary changes must be completed through paper forms. An Evidence of Insurability form must be completed for any of the aforementioned insurance options. Lincoln Financial will review and determine eligibility then notify you directly regarding approval or denial. The forms are available at the Benefits Fair or in the Office of Human Resources.
Enrollment forms for the Lincoln Financial Group insurances must be completed and returned to human resources no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 4, 2016.
If you have experienced any changes this year with dependents, marital status or other life events, you are advised to review your current benefit elections and select the most appropriate choices for you as well as your family for 2017.
