David Kennedy G’10 visited with this year’s Master of Arts in Interactive Media cohort, discussing his own experiences in the graduate program as well as his role creating themes for WordPress, responsible for about 25 percent of websites around the world.

Each year the fraternity recognizes "a deserving alumnus who has best advanced the interests" of the Elon chapter and its association. 

On Wednesday, Nov. 2, from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m., students and faculty members from the Department of World Languages and Cultures will join representatives from the Global Education Center in the Moseley Kitchen to answer questions about language majors and minors, regional studies programs and global engagement opportunities. Proctored language assessments in five languages for students who missed the October 1 deadline of their first year at Elon will be offered as per the schedule below. 

Four panelists took part in a moderated conversation Wednesday evening as nearly 130 students and community members discussed the history, status and future of the Black Lives Matter movement.

Brandon Sheridan, assistant professor of economics, was among the experts interviewed for the Oct. 23 article looking at how the North Carolina economy has rebounded. 

The Elon University journalism major and former Pendulum editor-in-chief started the Hearst Corp.’s two-year fellowship program in August, assigned to the San Francisco Chronicle.
