Elon's campus schedule returns to normal following weather-related delays.
Elon University’s schedule will return to normal on Wednesday, Jan. 11, after several days of delays due to a storm that dropped more than 8 inches of snow on campus.
Winter Term classes will meet at their scheduled times and campus offices will open for their normal hours after higher temperatures and the efforts of the Elon University Physical Plant Department helped clear roadways and walkways.
Termperatures were close to 40 degrees by sundown on Tuesday and are expected to continue to grow warmer as the week progresses, hitting close to 70 degrees on Thursday and Friday before dropping back down this weekend, according to the latest forecast from the National Weather Service.
Snow and ice on untreated areas of campus remain, so continue to use caution when walking or driving.
