Shelley W. Ewing is from Raeford, N.C. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Meredith College and her master’s in liberal studies from University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She has previously worked at a number of local universities including UNC-Greensboro, Highpoint University and Meredith College. Shelley and husband Brian have two dogs and enjoy hiking the North Carolina mountains together.

Dillon R. Hubbard is from Burlington, N.C. He previously worked at Boundless Auto. Dillon is married to his wife, Molly, and in his free time he enjoys running and working on cars.

Laura Igaune is from Riga, Latvia. She has a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy, a master’s degree in exercise science and forensic psychology. She previously worked at Tiffin University, and she and her husband, Nolan, have one dog.

Ted Morée is from Holly Springs, N.C. He received his bachelor’s degree in communication studies-media production from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He previously was a producer on television shows such as “Treehouse Masters” and “Tiny House Nation.” Ted and his wife, Kelly Jones, have one dog and enjoy reading and hiking in their free time.
Samantha Murray, Coordinator for Student Concerns Outreach
Samantha Murray is from Amesbury, Mass. She received her bachelor’s degrees in human services studies from Elon. Previously, Samantha worked for Essex County District Attorney’s Office as a victim witness advocate. Her younger sister, Mackenzie Murray, graduated from Elon in 2016. Samantha says: “After working for almost a year and a half after graduation, I was searching for a supportive work environment and a position where I could serve as an advocate/resource. Coming back to Elon has been a ‘dream come true,’ for a lack of a better phrase, and I am so happy to be able to be serving in a role where I can support students and be a part of this university.”
Jerry F. Phifer Jr., Floor Tech
Jerry F. Phifer is from Greensboro, N.C. ,and he previously worked for the Alamance-Burlington School System. He and his wife, Cynthia, have two kids, Tre and Kee’Ana. In his free time he enjoys running, playing basketball and riding his motorcycle.
Martica Richardson, Housekeeper
Martica Richardson is from Durham, N.C. She earned some college education from Alamance Community College and has previously worked at Duke University as a housekeeping specialist. She and her husband, Stanley Worley, love rooting for the University of North Carolina Tarheels basketball and the Golden State Warriors. She was attracted to work at Elon because of the positive environment on campus.

Detric Robinson is from Darlington, S.C. He received his master’s degree in higher education administration from N.C .State University. Previously, he was a hall director at Winston-Salem State University. Detric and his partner, John Miller IV, spend their free time painting, gaming and enjoying their friends and family.

Scott Sheldon is from Burlington, N.C. He was previously employed by the United States Marine Corps and the Graham Police Department. In his free time he enjoys spending time his family, watching his kids play sports and golfing. Scott was attracted to Elon because of the great people and positive attitudes.
