Elon offers more than 30 innovative short-term programs during Winter Term, fall (Thanksgiving Break), spring (Spring Break), and summer. These courses are intensive experiences among cohorts of 12 to 32 Elon students and one to two Elon program leaders. Some courses offer comparative opportunities centered around a specific topic area, such as the Holocaust Journey or Great Structures of Europe, where others offer a research or service-focused experience in one location and in collaboration with on-site partners, such as The Call of South Africa or Malawi: The Warm Heart of Africa.  Others yet offer one-of-a-kind experiences related to the program leaders’ expertise, such as Ghana: Performing Arts in Cultural Context or Urban Ecology: Three Cities; Three Stories.

No matter what type of program you choose, a Global Short-Term Program is a unique, signature element of an Elon education.
