At a board meeting earlier this month, Wesley Langford Swain '04 was appointed Principal of Park View High School in Mecklenburg County Schools in South Boston, Virginia.
Swain received her undergraduate degree in secondary English education from Elon before receiving her master’s of educational leadership in 2009 from Longwood University. She taught eighth grade Language Arts at both Bluestone middle and high schools before becoming assistant principal in 2014.
This past spring, Swain split her time as assistant principal at Bluestone and Park View High Schools as part of an administration shuffle before being named principal at Park View High School.
