Phi Beta Kappa Plaza, 9:40 to 10:20 a.m.
Students who would like to learn more about registering to vote can drop by the Elon Votes! table on Tuesday, Sept. 26 from 9:40 to 10:20 a.m. on Phi Beta Kappa Plaza, or a designated rain location.
This is one of a series of programs this year designed to enhance civic engagement efforts on campus. The series is supported by Elon Votes! and the Elon Political Engagement Work Group.
Elon Votes! is a nonpartisan campus initiative created to provide students with the necessary resources to register to vote and learn about issues at stake in upcoming elections. The initiative is run by Elon student Andrew Goodman Foundation Ambassadors Gabby Vance and Thomas Armooh. The Andrew Goodman Foundation’s Vote Everywhere is a nonpartisan, experiential program that recruits, trains and supports emerging leaders at colleges and universities across the country.
The Elon University Political Engagement Work Group is a nonpartisan collaborative team that involves students, faculty, and staff representing areas such as the Department of Political Science, Study USA, Center for Leadership, Student Government Association, Residence Life, Student Media, Truitt Center, and National Campaign for Political and Civic Engagement.
