Teacher candidates who will complete their Elon student teaching experience at Alamance-Burlington School System in the spring will attend a seminar titled “Effective Teacher Training.”
This seminar is designed to prepare learners to enter 
a school setting as a subsitute teacher and fill the role of the regular instructor in the classroom. Learners will engage in a variety of activities that will enhance their awareness of challenges encountered by today’s youth and enable them to recognize and develop appropriate learning activities.
This event will be held in Johnston Hall on Dec. 1 from 9 to 11 a.m. and is sponsored by the Alamance-Burlington School System.
