Artemis Preeshl, assistant professor of performing arts, was appointed to the advisory board of the Voice and Speech Review, a scholarly journal published by Routledge/Taylor & Francis.
This peer-reviewed journal of the Voice and Speech Trainers Association publishes voice-oriented research, essays, literature and performance reviews and pedagogical studies. Preeshl serves as the treasurer of the Voice and Speech Trainers Association.
Preeshl’s article, “The Virtual Voice: Teaching Voice and Speech in Online and Blended Learning Environments,” about teaching speech in the classroom, on Adobe Connect and Skype appeared in the Voice and Speech Review in 2014.
Preeshl teaches THE 326A Dialects course at Elon this fall.
