The fall networking event connected more than 100 students with recruiters from a variety of organizations.
The Elon Sales Meet and Greet attracted 104 students of 21 majors to network with top local, national and global organizations for employment opportunities.
The Chandler Family Professional Sales Center along with the Student Professional Development Center hosted the Sept. 18 event to provide students the opportunity to connect with employers interested in hiring Elon sales talent to join their team.
“This fall’s event was very successful,” said Erin Gillespie, assistant professor of marketing and director of the Chandler Family Professional Sales Center. “We had a wide range of excellent companies represented and the recruiters were extremely pleased with Elon’s sales talent. Many of the interactions resulted in students receiving interviews.”

The Chandler Family Professional Sales Center, established in 2008 by an endowment gift from Elon Trustee Thomas E. Chandler, owner of Chandler Concrete Co., and his family, promotes professional selling and sales management, provides high-quality instruction to both students and sales executives, and conducts research that advances the field of sales.
