The chapter was featured in the annual Chomp & Stomp Chili Cook-off and Bluegrass Festival
On Saturday, Nov. 4, Elon's Atlanta Alumni Chapter continued one of the chapter's favorite traditions—participating in the city's Chomp & Stomp Chili Cook-off contest.
Prior to the event, members of the chapter's board cooked their signature chili, "Fire of the Carolinas," named in honor of their alma mater. The chapter had an Elon-themed tent set up at the festival for alumni, families and friends to come together, enjoy the chili and listen to live bluegrass music. While the chapter did not place as a top finalist with the judges, the alumni had a great time engaging with community members, festival-goers and fellow alumni.
