The Nov. 25 article by reporter Bill Cresenzo, "Holiday sales bright," pulled together information about what shoppers are expected to spend during the shopping season, which gets underway in earnest each year around Thanksgiving.
Sheridan offered his take on what the predictions are saying, noting that experts are optimistic that spending will be robust this year.
"Consumer confidence is solid, and it looks like overall, shoppers are confident heading into the season," Sheridan said.
