The prominent author and expert in the fields of autism and animal welfare will visit campus on Tuesday, Feb. 27 with a 7:30 p.m. lecture in McCrary Theatre titled "Developing Individuals Who Have Different Kinds of Minds."

Temple Grandin is a prominent author and expert in the fields of animal science and autism as well as a professor of Animal Science at Colorado State University. In her lecture, she will discuss different ways of thinking including visual, math pattern and verbal.
The visit is sponsored by the Elon chapter of Autism Speaks U, Elon Teaching Fellows, the Liberal Arts Forum and the Office of Cultural and Special Programs.
