Seventy-five students and one faculty member were inducted into Omicron Delta Kappa in a ceremony on Feb. 4.

Among medium-sized colleges and universities, Elon ranked No. 16 for the number of Peace Corps volunteers it produced in 2017. Last year, Elon Law launched a new fellows program to help returned Peace Corps volunteers become lawyers. 

The graduating cohort applied the knowledge and skills acquired during the program to a business case analysis presentation.  

The $34,000 grant is from the Colonial Academic Alliance, which seeks to link the colleges and universities that make up the Colonial Athletic Association. 

The annual celebration of Elon athletics is organized by the Phoenix Club to raise money for student-athlete scholarships.

All Elon students, faculty and staff are invited to gather in Alumni Gym at 9:40 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 27, to pay tribute to the Lamberts for their 19 years of service to the university.

Rev. Billy Graham, the prominent pastor and evangelist from North Carolina who became a counselor to presidents, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 21, at his home in Montreat, N.C. at the age of 99. 

A film screening of "Redneck Muslim" at Turner Theater brought the audience on a journey through Imam Shane Atkinson's life as a chaplain at UNC Medical Center and as a white Muslim in the South.

Carducci will provide academic leadership for Elon’s newest graduate degree program, with the inaugural cohort to enroll in the full-time, two-year program this fall.
