In this discussion, our panelists will shed light on how analytics may be used to enhance productive sales operations at the business consultant level as well as across sales teams.

As vice president of information systems & technology at Princess House Inc., Bassam Alqassar provides leadership for the continued development and management of an innovative, robust, and secure information technology environment throughout the company. Alqassar brings 30 years of experience in all phases of Information Technology, including Infrastructure Services, Cyber Security, Cloud, Data Analytics, and Application Development. His forte is the ability to provide strategic alignments between business and technology. As an Information Services executive, Alqassar consistently engages in executing business strategies and promoting organizational growth through emerging technologies and advanced software development to support ongoing business growth objectives.

Prior to his tenure at Princess House, Alqassar was the operating vice president of system design and programming at the Robert Allen Group. Alqassar received a Graduate Certificate in Information Assurance and Cybersecurity from Florida Institute of Technology and a masters of science in computer science from the University of Massachusetts. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in computer system management from Johnson and Wales University. Alqassar is a member of ISACA International and CISA certified.

His research papers have been published in the Intelligent Manufacturing Systems Journal and the Journal of Intelligent Manufacturing.

Yemi Mateola is an accomplished technology executive, with demonstrable success driving organizational efficiencies and leading business technology platform transformations in alignment with business strategies and outcomes.

Mateola began his technology career in the UK in the mid-eighties as a programmer and quickly progressed over the years through project leadership and development consulting into a senior architect/development position in the US. He gained architect level expertise on Microsoft and Java-based platforms and developed hands-on implementation skills in business, application, data, technology and solution architecture domain areas.

He played a senior leadership role in major US. companies including JC Penney, Southwest Airlines, and Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, where he served for more than 10 years. He worked with other leaders to establish the architecture discipline at Disney and led the design and solution efforts on many multi-million dollar initiatives.

Mateola is skilled at building consensus across IT disciplines and heterogeneous business areas on a local and global scale to establish solution delivery, architecture, and information governance best practices to drive increased business value. Yemi currently serves as the director of architecture and solution delivery at ACN, a global direct sales corporation with offices in 24 countries and four continents.

He received a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Lagos and attended Masters in Computing and Advanced Database Systems course at Birkbeck College, University of London. Mateola is passionate about empowering others and enjoys traveling, adventure, movies and winning chess games.
