Members of the worldwide Elon community can participate in this day-long celebration by making a gift to the university and sharing their Elon pride on social media.
Elon Day, a 24-hour celebration of pride in the university, is set for Tuesday, March 13. Now in its fifth year, the event encourages engagement and philanthropy of all members in the Elon community around the globe.
The mobile-friendly Elon Day website will be updated throughout the day to include a total of Elon Day gifts in real time, a live list of donors and interactive leaderboards displaying the academic schools, campus funds and athletic programs receiving support. Gifts of all sizes and designations will count toward the total given during Elon Day.

“Year after year, Elon Day has solidified itself as a day in which the entire Elon family celebrates what we value as a community,” said John H. Barnhill ’92, assistant vice president for university advancement. “The day’s energy and momentum is built on pride in our university and the impact and history we create together.”
Elon Day began in 2014 as part of the university’s 125th anniversary celebration. Last year, donors made 4,299 gifts totaling more than $1,075,025 in honor of Elon Day.
