Several seniors presented their work during the Eastern Economic Association's 44th annual conference.
Seven Martha and Spencer Love School of Business students presented their thesis research at the 2018 Eastern Economic Association’s annual conference in Boston.
Senior economics majors Stephan Marsh, Austin Martin, Brooke Hunziker, Christian Reese, Adam Wanstall and Amanda Feldman along with senior international business major Grace O’Hara participated in the 10 undergraduate research sessions sponsored by Issues in Political Economy (IPE), the leading undergraduate research journal in economics. This was the 25th consecutive year the IPE has sponsored sessions at the conference.
Fifty-one students from 19 colleges and universities throughout the country participated in two days of sessions. Students came from institutions such as American University, Austin College, Belmont University, College of Wooster, Davidson College, DePauw University, Smith College, University of Mary Washington, University of Northern Iowa, Stonehill College and St. Lawrence University.

The IPE is co-edited completely by undergraduates at Elon University and the University of Mary Washington. Elon has co-edited the journal since 1998. The IPE is indexed in "Cabell's Directory of Publishing Opportunities in Economics & Finance." Steve DeLoach is the faculty advisor to the IPE.
