On April 26 at 5 p.m., the School of Education will hold a discussion and authentic cultural food tied to the characters' stories in this year's book selection, "Refugee," by Alan Gratz, in Mooney 111.
This year, the School of Education selected Refugee by Alan Gratz, a book told as a split narrative between three refugees leaving their homes: Josef from Nazi Germany, Isabel from Cuba, and Mahmoud from Syria.
Books are available in Mooney 111 (Curriculum Resources Center) for $5 each or free for check-out.
