The town is developing a new comprehensive master plan for parks and recreation and is seeking feedback from the Elon University community.
The Town of Elon is hosting a public drop-in session on Thursday, May 3, to solicit input on the future of parks and recreation.
The public input open house will be held from 3 to 5 p.m., with attendees given the opportunity to ask questions and provide information about their parks and recreation wants and needs. Input from the meeting will be the foundation for the town’s forthcoming parks and recreation comprehensive master plan. The plan will guide the future of Elon’s parks, recreation programs, facilities and more during the next decade.
The session will be held in McCoy Commons, Room 212, 416 N. Williamson Ave. in Elon. For more information, contact Town Manager Richard White at (336) 584-3601 or rwhite@ci.elon.nc.us.
