The Truitt Center for Religious & Spiritual Life will host a Diwali celebration on Wednesday, Oct. 31 at 6 p.m. in the McBride Gathering Space, Numen Lumen Pavilion.
Diwali is the Hindu festival of lights, celebrating the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, knowledge over ignorance, and hope over despair. This year, the event includes free food and sweets for a celebration of one of the most joyful Hindu days of the year.
All are welcome to join in a night of lights and love.
