The chapter's annual professional development day included social media activity and an evening program with keynote speaker Molly Hilboldt '09 from CBS Sports.
The NYC Alumni Chapter hosted its annual Professional Development Day on Monday, June 26, in a celebration of networking, skill-building, and engagement. With almost 70 alumni in attendance at the notable PS450 venue, participants enjoyed this purposeful event as an extension to our alma mater’s commitment to life-long alumni engagement.
Under the theme “Elon on the NYC Grind,” attendees had the special opportunity to hear from this year’s esteemed keynote speaker, Molly Hilboldt ’09. With nine years of experience at CBS, Molly currently serves as the manager of on-air talent and production planning for the CBS Sports Network where she oversees all aspects of talent and production for over 500 live events per year.
“Any excuse to get back with Elon people, whether it’s networking, or being a resource for someone, or just staying connected – it’s a really cool opportunity,” Hilboldt said.
The efforts surrounding Professional Development Day extended beyond the evening event through the Elon Alumni in NYC Facebook page. This year, the chapter featured additional content via social media, including alumni and resource spotlights, in support of the overarching effort to assist with professional development.
The Office of Alumni Engagement and the NYC Alumni Chapter thanks Hilboldt for being the keynote speaker at the evening program. For more information on upcoming chapter events, please follow Elon Alumni in NYC social media:
