2017 Distinguished Scholar Award Lecture
Squire will present an overview of her research in collecting, storing and analyzing massive data sets about how online communities organize themselves and their work. Using examples from software development teams and extremist hate groups, this talk will explore how social network analysis, text mining and machine learning can be used to understand complex socio-technical phenomena.
