Open auditions for the Elon University Jazz Ensemble will be held during the band's first class meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 28, from 12:25 to 2:05 p.m. in Room 164 of the Center for the Arts.
Were you a member of the band program in high school? Are you missing the feeling of making music with a group of like-minded individuals? Is your instrument crying out to you to take it out of its case once in a while and give it some love? Did you know that you don’t have to be a music major to participate in the Elon’s premier jazz ensemble?
Open auditions for the Elon University Jazz Ensemble will be held during the band’s first class meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 28, from 12:25 to 2:05 p.m. in Room 164 of the Center for the Arts. Trumpeters, trombonists, saxophonists, pianists, guitarists, bassists and drummers are all encouraged to attend. There may even be a spot or two available for vocalists.
