Directed by Amy Beasley, Dancing in the Landscape is a performance of site-specific works created by dance faculty Lauren Kearns, Sara Tourek, Ashlee Ramsey, and Amy Beasley and senior dance majors Allison Ivan and Brennan Kolbo.
The campus is invited to Dancing in the Landscape, a site-specific dance performance at Elon University on Saturday, Sept. 29. It’s a chance to enjoy the Carolina blue sky, beautiful Elon campus and exquisite dancing by Elon dance majors.
These site-specific works were created by dance program faculty Lauren Kearns, Sara Tourek, Ashlee Ramsey and Amy Beasley and senior dance majors Allison Ivan and Brennan Kolbo. The performance will begin at Fonville Fountain in front of the historic Alamance Building at noon. The performance will be a journey as the performers play with the architectural and natural structures that make up Elon’s historic neighborhood.
