The Charlotte Alumni Chapter hosted a professional development event with the theme of "Ingenuity in the Workforce."
Each year, Charlotte alumni get the chance to attend a professional development event hosted by their local alumni chapter. This year's special event delivered opportunities to networkand ultimately, a panel of four talented Elon alumni.
The alumni chapter hosted its event on Jan. 24 at the NASCAR Hall of Fame with four terrific alumni speakers who have demonstrated much success, growth, and various experiences throughout their careers.
The theme of the event was "Ingenuity in the Workforce" with the intention of the alumni panelists coming from different career backgrounds and expertise. The speakers generously shared their career stories, helpful advice, and incredible knowledge to an audience of fellow Elon alumni.
Each spring, Elon's largest alumni chapters host professional development events to provide lifelong learning to the area's alumni. Alumni have the opportunity to learn, listen to alumni stories, and develop professionally. These events feature a variety of components such as a panel of alumni speakers, breakout sessions about relevant topics, professional communication assistance, unstructured networking, and more.
The Office of Alumni Engagement and the Elon Charlotte Alumni Chapter would like to sincerely thank the panelists, moderator, and the alumni, who attended, for making this year’s professional development event a success.
