U.S. News & World Report ranked Elon's program No. 37 in the country among 170 programs. The 2020 rankings mark the first time the program has been eligible for inclusion in the rankings.
Elon University's Physician Assistant Studies program earned a place among the top programs in the country, with the program tied for No. 37 among the 170 programs ranked by U.S. News & World Report.

Elon's 27-month, full-time program prepares graduates to think critically and act skillfully to meet expanding health care needs in local and global communities. Students immerse themselves in a curriculum structured around active learning strategies through collaborative work with Elon's faculty, scholars and practitioners in the field. Their time in the program includes a didactic phase that focuses on learning in the classroom and a clinical phase that has students working with preceptors in clinical settings such as hospitals, clinical and physician offices.
Earlier this month, the PA program graduated its fifth class, with 38 new physician assistants beginning their new careers in the growing profession.
Also announced Tuesday — Elon's part-time MBA program at the Martha & Spencer Love School of Business was ranked among the top 100 programs in the country by U.S. News & World Report. The program was tied for No. 89 in the 2020 rankings, up from No. 92 in the 2019 rankings.
A total of 213 part-time MBA programs were ranked this year, with the rankings based on factors including peer assessments, recruiter assessments, the starting salaries and bonuses of graduates and student selectivity.
Elon's part-time MBA program is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. Its students benefit from small class sizes, a curriculum focused on the transfer of course content to practical applications, professional development support and extraordinary faculty.
