Club Table Tennis to host tournament in Moseley Center April 19

Members of the Elon community are invited to participate in the spring 2019 Elon Open, the table tennis tournament hosted by Club Table Tennis and the Moseley Center, at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 19.

Club Table Tennis and the Moseley Center will host The Elon Open table tennis tournament from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday, April 19, in the first-floor lounge of the Moseley Center.

Students and faculty of all skill levels are encouraged to enter one of two tournament brackets: The Gold bracket invites those seeking higher levels of competition, and the Silver bracket invites those who may prefer a more casual, social competition. The finalists in each bracket will receive small prizes.

The event will immediately follow President Connie Book’s monthly table tennis session, which starts at 1:30 p.m.

Students and faculty can register for free at bit.ly/elonopenspring2019. This event is open to the Elon community, so those who do not enter the tournament are still welcome to attend.

“Bringing a table tennis club to Elon has been such an amazing experience so far, and we’re only just getting started,” said Adam Behrman, president of Club Table Tennis. “Keeping our practices open and hosting tournaments like this one provide and support an inclusive space where students and faculty alike can connect with one another. I’m excited to continue to expand our outreach to the Elon community and build relationships through table tennis.”
