Danielle Fisher '21, a marketing major from West Long Branch, New Jersey, has been named a 2019 Collegiate Summit Scholar by Marketing EDGE, a nonprofit organization focused on preparing market-ready students.
Fisher was chosen from a pool of applicants across the country to attend a two-day summit in New York this June, where she will gain industry insights and tips on how to launch her marketing career, build her professional network, and sharpen her resume and interviewing skills. She will hear from industry experts, including Harvard professors and vice presidents of major organizations, including Subway and NBC Universal.
Marketing EDGE strives to educate, develop, grow and employ college students in the field of marketing. Supported entirely by organizations that wish to give back to the community, Marketing EDGE designs programs to benefit students through active participation and interaction with top marketers in the field.
“I hope to learn about digital and data-based marketing strategies from top marketing professionals while networking with business students from across the country,” Fisher said. “I plan to use this experience as I move forward in my career through participating in career development workshops and resume shaping sessions.”
