A group of New York-based Elon alumni spent the afternoon on Saturday, Oct. 19, volunteering with KEEN (Kids Enjoy Exercise Now).
KEEN provides free recreational opportunities to hundreds of children and young adults with disabilities. Andrew Bronsteen ’13, Brigid Kirkpatrick ’14, Tara Kirkpatrick ’16 and Nadia Nobrega ’18 were paired with kids to participate in arts and crafts and sports programs. KEEN fosters the self-esteem, confidence, and talents of young people facing significant challenges, empowering them to meet their individual goals. This event was recorded by Fox 5 and will be televised in November.
The event was organized by Andrew Bronsteen ’13, who serves on the NYC Alumni Chapter board as the Chair of Philanthropy and Community Engagement.
