Due to the inclement weather, classes and offices on Elon’s main campus will operate on a 10 a.m. delayed start today.
School of Law students, staff and faculty received a separate notification regarding the schedule for the Law School, which will also operate on a 10 a.m. delayed start today.
Physical Plant staff have been working overnight to clear snow and ice from campus sidewalks and roads. Although we are currently experiencing freezing temperatures, driving conditions will improve as temperatures rise during the day. Slippery conditions may still exist, so please wear proper footwear and be careful driving and walking.

LABORATORY SCHEDULE
Because labs meet for different lengths, departments are asked to discuss individual schedules and faculty should let students know how to retrieve information on labs for their class (e.g., Moodle site).

Offices that will open before 10 a.m. include:
- Campus Recreation and Wellness – regular hours of operation for all facilities; administrative office opens at 10 a.m.
- Dining Services – Einstein’s and Biscuitville will open at 8 a.m. McEwen Dining Hall and Clohan Hall open at 9 a.m. Other locations will open as weather permits. Check hours, locations, and menus online at https://www.elondining.com/menu-hours/ and the Elon Dining social media channels
- Moseley Center – Open at 7 a.m.; Mail Services will not open until 10 a.m.
- Tram and Shuttles – The Danieley Tram will start at 8 a.m.; BioBus shuttles outer loop A & B and West route at 9 a.m.; Downtown and university drive shuttles will run normal schedule starting in afternoon.
Faculty and staff who live some distance from campus and are prevented from safely traveling to campus should notify their respective dean (faculty) or supervisor (staff). Students who are prevented from traveling safely should contact their professors.
