Eastlawn Elementary School is seeking student volunteers for a literacy boot-camp.
Eastlawn Elementary School is seeking volunteers for a literacy boot camp to be hosted for a group of 60 kindergarteners March 16-20, 2020. Previous teaching experience is not required (though that is a definite plus), however volunteers must undergo a background check and the Protection of Minors Training, be of at least 21 years of age, and attend a workshop in early March. Boot-camp sessions would be held from 8:00 AM -1:00 PM each day during the selected week and volunteers (around 6 per day) would be working alongside Eastlawn teachers and staff. The event location is Eastlawn Elementary School, 502 N Graham Hopedale Rd, Burlington, NC 27217.
