As the 2020 presidential election approaches, three Elon students joined in on a televised discussion about the issues that matter most to young voters this election season.
Liam Collins ’20, Maria Ramirez-Uribe ’20 and Jack Norcross ’21 chimed in on a variety of topics as a part of a recent panel discussion hosted by WXII 12 News in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
The discussion was moderated by news anchor Kenny Beck and aired during a 30-minute special on the network. The panel, which also included two students from North Carolina A&T State University, covered young voter turnout, student loan debt and social media’s role in the upcoming election.
