Using video conferencing tools, Elon's president joined Professor Naeemah Clark's communications class on March 25.
Elon University President Connie Ledoux Book joined faculty colleague Naeemah Clark on March 25 for a class discussion of the economics of the communications industry. Clark’s course is titled “Communications in a Global Age,” and serves as the introductory course for communications majors.
Book had previously taught the class when she was a faculty member in Elon’s School of Communications. With all Elon courses now being taught remotely, she had the opportunity to use remote video conferencing tool technologies to speak with Clark and the students in the class.
Since remote learning began on March 23, Elon faculty members have been using a variety of strategies and technologies to keep their students engaged and on track to complete course requirements.
