Earth Week at Elon goes digital

Participate remotely in a variety of sustainability activities during Earth Week, April 20-24.

Earth Week will be held April 20-24, 2020 and is an opportunity for Elon students, faculty and staff to examine their own habits as they relate to sustainability. A key feature of this week includes a brief questionnaire to reflect upon individual waste habits. Students, faculty, and staff who complete the questionnaire will be entered to win an Earth Week grand prize: a hammock and a sustainability prize pack. Three grand prizes will be given.

Earth Week will include a variety of digital events centered around sustainability, and those who complete the action items will earn five additional prize entries for each action item completed. Please see below for the full Earth Week Schedule.

Katharine Wilkinson’s visit to campus has been rescheduled for October 2020. She is the lead writer of Drawdown, the New York Times bestseller on climate solutions, and currently serves as Vice President of Communication & Engagement at Project Drawdown.
