On May 5, 2020, the Fraternity and Sorority Community (FSC) celebrated the recipients of our annual Community Awards, recognizing chapters and individual chapter members for their accomplishments this past year. Student Involvement wanted to take the opportunity to celebrate all the great things our chapters and Greek community have accomplished, even amidst the chaos and uncertainty of the end of this school year.
The FSC Awards includes both chapter awards for different programs or experiences the organization provides, as well as individual awards to honor chapter members for their accomplishments and dedication to their community. This year, we received a total of 73 nominations for 17 awards and gave out an additional 4 awards that did not require nominations. 24 out of our 26 chapters submitted nominations for awards, which shows the dedication to our community and exemplifying the values of their organizations.
The Student Involvement staff was beyond impressed reading the 73 nominations of all the incredible things our community members have done during this past year. We are so glad we could celebrate and honor the recipients of the awards, even if it was not the awards ceremony we had pictured. Our chapters are doing incredible things in our Greek community every day, and this is just one small token of our appreciation for all they do.
The chapter and individual award winners, with descriptions of each award, can be found here.
