Thursday, October 22 at 9 p.m. in the Moseley Student Center
Elon students are invited to watch the October 22 presidential debate with their roommate(s) in the form of tiny debate watch parties while wearing their masks and maintaining social distancing.
Students are encouraged to register their tiny watch party with their roommate(s) and suitemate(s). Everyone is required to wear masks and maintain social distancing.
Voter Registration and Absentee Ballots
Many students choose to register to vote in their home state and request an absentee ballot. Others may choose to update their address and register to vote using a local campus address. Either way, the university has made it easy for them through the Elon Votes! website and a partnership with TurboVote, a one-stop location for registering to vote and requesting an absentee ballot, no matter where in the country they are from.
The Active Citizen Series is designed to cultivate the next generation of informed leaders who will help strengthen communities and shape our democracy. This event will allow students to gain a deeper understanding of how government works and to develop the necessary skills to engage in civil discourse across political divides.
Sponsored by the Elon Political Engagement Work Group, Elon Votes!, Kernodle Center for Civic Life, and Council on Civic Engagement.
