The School of Communications has planned events for its alumni and students to connect from Oct. 13-15 during Elon University’s Homecoming week. Details are provided below.
School of Communications Alumna of the Year Presentation to Nneka Enurah ’11

The School of Communications will celebrate its Alumna of the Year, Nneka Enurah ’11, in a virtual ceremony, which will also include a viewing of the trailer for “Little Fires Everywhere,” a show produced by Hello Sunshine, for which Enurah previously worked as the director of digital development and production, as well as web-based promotional material for the show. Now, Enurah is the head of development and partnerships at FBE, an award-winning multi-platform studio that produces 20 serialized shows for more tha 44 million subscribers. Alumni may register for the event via the university’s Homecoming page. Students, faculty and staff should register via the sign-up form.
Alumni, What Makes You Strong?

The StrengthsQuest assessment, created by Gallup, helps individuals better understand their innate talents. In this session, after taking the assessment, School of Communications alumni will complete a series of activities and participate in a discussion to further explore their talents/strengths and how they can be used for career success. This session will be led by Ross Wade. Assessments cost: $12. Alumni may register for the event via the university’s Homecoming page.

Several School of Communications alumni will be available via Zoom to meet and connect with students. This casual networking event will allow students to engage in conversations with alumni about their experiences at Elon, internships and careers.
