Dear Students, Faculty, and Staff,
In the early morning of Thursday, October 15, the Town of Elon Police Department responded to multiple addresses near campus regarding reports of two stolen vehicles, as well as reports of three vehicle break-ins with property stolen. Several of these vehicles were owned by Elon students and some were not locked. Both stolen vehicles were recovered yesterday in nearby communities. These incidents are still under investigation. Anyone with information concerning these thefts should contact the Town of Elon Police Department at 336-584-1301.
All Elon University students, faculty, staff, guests and visitors are reminded to report suspicious activities immediately by calling 336-278-5555 on campus, using one of the emergency blue light phones on campus, or using the LiveSafe smartphone app. Do not leave your property, vehicles, offices, homes or residence halls unsecured.
