How to request a pre-semester COVID-19 testing fee credit

In this note, students will find instructions for requesting a fee credit for pre-semester COVID-19 testing.

I used the LabCorp test provided through the university. How do I request and receive a credit?

If you utilized a mail-in test through the LabCorp/Pixel option, please read the following:

  • A $129 charge has been placed on your student bill. The $129 is what LabCorp charged Elon for your test and includes the cost of the test, FedEx shipping, lab processing, and reporting.
  • If you wish to request and receive a credit from Elon, log into OnTrack. Click on “OnTrack for Students” and click on the “COVID-19 Testing Fee Credit Request” link in the “Financial Information” section.
  • Answer the questions on the form and click submit.
  • Requests must be submitted by Friday, November 13, 2020.
  • Review will begin by Tuesday, December 1, and credits will be applied to student accounts by Friday, December 18.
  • Students will not be charged for unused test kits or voided, invalidated, or damaged tests.

I used a different COVID-19 PCR test. How do I request and receive a credit?

If you utilized an alternate (non-LabCorp) PCR test, please read the following:

  • If you wish to request and receive a credit from Elon, log into OnTrack. Click on “OnTrack for Students” and click on the “COVID-19 Testing Fee Credit Request link in the Financial Information section.
  • Answer the questions on the online form, including your out-of-pocket cost for the tests after any insurance reimbursement. You are eligible for a credit of up to $129 for your unreimbursed costs.
  • Requests must be submitted by Friday, November 13, 2020.
  • Review will begin by Tuesday, December 1 and credits will be applied to student accounts by Friday, December 18.
