With the conclusion of Winter Term 2021, students will now enjoy a short break before the start of the spring semester on Monday, Feb. 8. As students take some time off, the university is providing information on services and events planned for the campus community over the “Fake Break” period from Feb. 4-7.
This year’s break between Winter Term and spring semester has been shortened, and students have been strongly encouraged to remain on campus to minimize the risk that comes with non-essential travel outside the Elon community.
Residence halls and other campus services will remain fully open during the four-day break. Student meal plans transitioned from fall to spring on Thursday, Feb. 4, and the Elon Dining website its lists menus and hours through the weekend.
As students take time to transition to the new semester, a number of student organization events and campus activities have been planned to provide safe ways to spend the break.

Throughout the break, students can stop by the Moseley Center front desk to pick up a kit, which will include all the necessary supplies and instructions to construct origami pieces.
