Elon joins hundreds of institutions nationwide to be recognized for their commitment and dedication to veterans, their spouses and the military community.
Elon University has been designated as a 2021-22 Military Friendly School for its dedication to the military community, veterans advocacy program Military Friendly has announced.
In its 20th year, the Military Friendly Schools list aims to set a standard for higher education institutions to provide the best educational opportunities for veterans, their spouses and the military community.
Military Friendly compiles its list each year based on data from federal agencies, veteran students and a proprietary survey completed by each participating institution. See Elon’s 2021-22 ratings here.
The designated schools were selected based on each institution’s survey scores and an assessment of each school’s ability to meet specific criteria in the areas of student retention, graduation, job placement, loan repayment, persistence (degree advancement or transfer) and loan default rates for all students and, specifically, for student veterans.
